What is ADSTRA SMS?
SMS text messages are sent for confirmations and reminders for upcoming dental appointments, follow-ups for completed dental appointments and to reschedule missed dental appointments.
The appointment status is automatically changing to confirmed when patients reply YES to the confirmation message.
The messages are sent in English, French or Spanish, according to patient’s language preference.
What is the implementation process?
When the appointment is booked, dental practices are asking patients if they would like to receive SMS messages. If the patient opts-in, their cell phone number is recorded in a special field with cell phone numbers for sending SMS text messages. The patient can opt-out at the time when booking future dental appointments.
